How This Company Started
Josh Bosley began roofing at 15 years old and has nearly 20 years of experience in the roofing and restoration industry. He later served four years in the United States Marine Corps in Motor Transport, supporting an artillery unit. His service included humanitarian relief in Haiti, along with deployments and training throughout the Middle East and Europe.
After working for five different roofing companies, Josh founded Semper Fi Roofing to create the kind of company he would trust with his own home: experienced, honest, organized, and accountable from the initial inspection through the final walkthrough.
Our name comes from the Marine Corps motto Semper Fidelis, meaning "Always Faithful." Those values guide how we treat our customers, stand behind our work, and protect every property we are trusted with.

Ready Before We Turn Up
Our people are trained properly before they ever set foot in a customer's house. We plan the job down to the small stuff, too. All of that happens before anybody pulls up out front.
Background Checked, Every Job
Everyone who comes into your home has been background checked. That's a policy, and it applies on every job, not just the big ones. After a hailstorm the doorbell starts going, and the people on your step are strangers holding clipboards. You've got no way to tell who any of them are. We also carry general liability and workers compensation insurance, which most homeowners assume and almost nobody asks about.
Straight Answers
Twenty years on roofs means we can usually call what's under the shingles before we pull them off. A fresh hail hit looks different to us than one from five summers back. And we read a scope and spot the gaps before the adjuster has packed up. That's what we catch on the roof walk, and what ends up in the estimate. It's also why you get the plain version instead of a gloss.

Who owns Semper Fi Roofing?
Josh Bosley owns it. He stays hands-on, still reading scopes and getting on roofs, not sitting behind a desk full time.
Are you licensed and insured?
We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance. On the license side, Colorado doesn't issue a statewide roofing license. Each city licenses its own contractors instead. The license that matters is the one for the city your house sits in. If you're checking on any roofer, including us, that's the office to ask. It's a two minute phone call and it's worth making. On the manufacturer side, we're GAF Master Elite certified. That's what lets us offer GAF's enhanced warranties on qualifying roof systems, the Golden Pledge Limited Warranty included.
Do you do the insurance side yourselves?
Yes. We write the estimate in the format your insurance company reads. We're also the ones who go back to them when the scope comes up short. The person arguing about your roof should be somebody who has stood on it and photographed it. That's the whole reason we kept it in house.
Is somebody I don't know going to be at my house?
Everyone we send into your home has been background checked, on every job. That was the plan here before there was a first job.
Do you speak Spanish?
Some of our salespeople do. Say so when you get in touch and we'll try to line one of them up for your visit. It's availability rather than a guarantee, so it helps to ask early.
Do you work outside Colorado?
Yes. We work in Colorado and Wyoming, and Cheyenne is the Wyoming city we're in most. Wyoming has its own rules for roofing contracts, and we follow those there rather than Colorado's.
What if I can't pay for it up front and it isn't a claim?
Financing is available through Hearth. Plenty of exterior work has no storm behind it, and that's the route for those jobs. Ask about it when you get in touch and we'll walk you through how it works.
What's the first thing that happens if I get in touch?
We come out and walk the whole outside of your house, not just the roof. We photograph what's there, and then we tell you plainly what we found. You don't need to be up a ladder for any of it. You don't need to know what you're looking at either. That part is our job.
