Is there a Colorado state roofing license?
No. The license that matters is the one your own city issues. Nobody has a state roofing number, because Colorado doesn't issue one.
Does my association have to approve the roof?
In most of Broomfield, yes. Start it early, because that approval is usually what holds a job up. The exception worth knowing: an association can't stop you using fire resistant materials on your own home.
