Roofing Company in Westminster, CO
We do roofing and exterior work across Westminster, residential and commercial, in a city that takes real wind off the foothills. We get the HOA sign off settled before the roof goes on.
Before You Let Anyone Near Your House

- We background check everyone who enters a customer's home. That's a standing policy, not something arranged for one job.
- We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance.
- About twenty years of hands-on roofing experience backs our work.
- Some of our salespeople are fluent Spanish speakers.
- We're GAF Master Elite certified. That certification is what makes GAF's enhanced warranties available, the Golden Pledge among them, on qualifying roof systems.
We're a veteran owned company, and in this city that mostly shows up in the paperwork. Wind damage is harder to prove than hail damage, so we photograph it properly and write it up the way an insurance company reads it.
Why Westminster Roofs Are Built for Wind

The western side of town sits close to the foothills. Wind comes down off high ground with nothing much in the way, and that's where it shows up first. Ridge caps go. Edges start working loose. You end up with a row of shingles lifting one after another while the middle of the roof still looks untouched from the driveway. Wind does its damage where a roof stops.
Hail arrives in spring and summer here, same as the rest of the metro. Wind is its own separate problem, and it doesn't wait for hail season. We take in the whole outside of your house on every visit, because wind and hail reach the gutters, the siding and the screens as well.
There's one thing here that is genuinely yours to start. If your neighborhood has a homeowners association, you need their written permission before the roof goes on. Not a friendly heads up to the board. An actual sign off, in writing. It's the step that usually holds a job up, not anything to do with the roof itself. It's uneven across the city, too. Some Westminster neighborhoods have an association and dues, some have neither, and it varies street by street. Ask what yours says about color and material before anyone orders anything, and settle gutter color while you're there. An association with a view on one usually has a view on the other.
Done that way, the ridge caps and the edges get the attention wind goes for, rather than the middle of the roof that looks fine anyway. The wind damage is photographed and written up the way an insurer reads it, which is the difference between a claim that stands and one that doesn't. The association's written permission is in hand before the job starts. And the gutters, siding and screens are settled on the same visit as the roof.
Everything We Work On in Westminster
Residential Roofing
Roof Replacement
Most of Westminster is on a second or third roof. Most of it went up inside the same twenty years, so when one house on a street needs a roof, several more usually do too.Learn moreRoof Repair
Wind damage usually turns up as a repairable problem before it turns into anything worse. A lifted course. A ridge cap gone. One edge working loose. Repair is a genuine answer in this city, not a consolation prize.Learn moreRoof Inspection
Wind does its damage at the ridge and the edges, the part of a roof you can't see from the driveway. We get up there and photograph the ridge line and every edge, then write up what we find the way an insurance company reads it.Learn moreStorm and Hail Damage
Westminster gets the same spring and summer hail as the rest of the metro, and then it gets wind on top of that.Learn moreEmergency Roof Repair
A wind event turns into an acute problem faster than hail does. A section lifted overnight, a ridge gone, water finding its way in before the next front arrives. First we get it closed up and dry. Then we work out the permanent repair.Learn more
Commercial Roofing
Commercial Roof Replacement
The buildings going up in the new downtown district are on their first roof. The older stock along the US 36 corridor is on its second or third. Those are two different jobs. On the older ones the test cuts decide it, because insulation that has taken on water can't be dried in place and has to come out.Learn moreCommercial Roof Repair
Wind is the thing here, and on a flat roof it does its work at the edges. It gets under a loose piece of edge metal, keeps at it, and creases the surface behind it. None of that is visible from the parking lot. So we start at the edges and the seams, then follow the water back from wherever it showed up inside.Learn moreCommercial Roof Maintenance
Spring and fall damage reports, on commercial buildings only. In a city that takes this much wind the fall visit earns its place. A loose edge in October is how a roof comes apart in February. Each report separates what needs work now from what only needs watching.Learn more
Exteriors
Gutter Installation
The older central neighborhoods have established landscaping and real leaf loading. The open western side gets wind driven debris instead. We size and hang the new run for the roof and the exposure it's actually under.Learn moreGutter Repair
Hail leaves dents in aluminum you can see from the driveway. Wind pulls hangers loose on the open side of the city. If your association has an opinion about roof color, it probably has one about gutter color. Settle that before anything gets ordered.Learn moreSiding
Wind driven hail hits a wall straight on rather than at a glance. Siding here takes damage the roof may not show yet. It's also the surface a Westminster association is most likely to have written rules about.Learn moreWindows
The seventies and eighties middle of the city is full of windows old enough to have lost their seals. Hail cracks screens and frames long before it shows on shingles. We install replacement windows across Westminster.Learn moreExterior Painting
Paint takes hail before shingles show it, and on the open western side it takes wind driven grit as well. A pitted wall is worth a proper look at the rest of the house. We paint exteriors across Westminster.Learn more
When Most of Westminster Was Built
Westminster grew faster in the nineteen seventies than almost anywhere else in the Greater Denver Area. Whole neighborhoods went up within a few years of each other. That matters now. Roofs put on at the same time reach the end of their lives at the same time. One house on a street needing a roof usually means several more do too.
The old south core. Harris Park and Shaw Heights, the oldest residential parts of the city. Small houses and mid century ranches on land that used to be orchards. Federal Boulevard runs along this side, near the station, and the city park sits in among it.
The big middle. Hyland Greens, Countryside, Walnut Creek and the streets around Standley Lake, built from the seventies through the nineties. This is most of Westminster, and most of the work here. 104th at Sheridan runs past the golf course, and the neighborhoods off 112th sit either side.
The newer edges. Legacy Ridge and Bradburn Village, out toward Wadsworth and Simms on the western edge. The Uplands construction on the south side, and the new downtown district on the old mall site.
US 36 cuts diagonally through the middle, and the whole city is organized around it. Westminster runs from the Denver line out to open ground at the reservoir. The two ends barely look like the same city: newer and more open west toward Standley Lake, older and denser south and east toward the Denver line. We work all of it.

What Westminster Customers Say
Adam Mayka
Josh with Semper Fi came to look at my roof after the most recent hail storm and couldn’t have been nicer. He was honest, thorough, and explained everything about the inspection process in great detail. His attention to detail and communication made it a very comfortable experience. Albeit we don’t need a new roof, when that time does come I will be using Semper Fi and I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors

Was very responsive. I was able to get what was needed in regards to our roof inspections on three houses quickly. And worked with our insurance agent getting the right information needed for our insurance needs. If you’re looking for someone that knows roofs and you need inspections or confirmations regarding your roof. Highly would recommend recommend this company

We had Semper Fi Restoration Inc. complete the roof on our 10,000 sq. ft. commercial building, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We had the opportunity to meet Joshua Bosley and worked mainly with Leo, our project manager. Leo’s communication throughout the entire project was top-notch. As with any large commercial roofing project, we ran into a few unexpected snags along the way, but the Semper Fi team stepped up and took care of every issue with no questions asked. They stood behind their work, kept us informed, and made sure everything was handled properly. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes responsibility and follows through on what they promise. We are very happy with the finished roof and would definitely recommend Semper Fi Restoration Inc. to anyone looking for a dependable and professional roofing company. Thank you to Joshua, Leo, and the entire Semper Fi team for a job well done!

There are a lot of Roofing Contractors out there so when I was referred Josh and his team by a close friend I knew there must be something different about them. From the first meeting with Josh and Daniel I felt comfortable and at ease. I had a lot of questions and they answered them without hesitation and in extreme detail which I appreciated. They helped me through the entire insurance journey and made sure I was covered before any work was done which helped lift that burden off my shoulders. Also, you will not find a Owner as diligent as Josh when it comes to QA/QC of the work done by his crews making sure the roof/gutters you get are up to HIS standards. I appreciate Josh and Daniel for getting the work done and definitely exceeded all my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but their work deserves some praise, I will definitely be referring them anytime I hear anyone I know is even thinking of getting or needing a new roof.

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for Josh and his team at Semper Fi Restoration. Josh came out the same day we called to provide an estimate and inspect our roof, and a member of his team completed the repairs first thing the very next morning. We truly appreciated the quick turnaround, excellent customer service, and quality workmanship in repairing the damage to our roof. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I highly recommend Semper Fi Restoration to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive roofing company!

When my insurance refused to pay for my hail damaged roof, Semper Fi worked with my insurance to successfully get them to pay. They helped me with the entire process and communicated well. They were always available if I had questions. Their crew did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company.

I had a fantastic experience with Leo at Semper Fi Restoration Inc. He recently completed some roof repairs for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Leo was professional, honest, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained everything thoroughly, showed up on time, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The quality of the repairs was excellent, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about doing the job right. It’s hard to find contractors you can truly trust, but Leo absolutely earned my confidence. Josh Bosley and Semper Fi Restoration recently completed hail damage work on our residence. Josh handled EVERYTHING with our insurance company. The work was completed on time, as promised. Clean-up was great. Josh came back and guaranteed we were happy with everything - including fixing two small areas that we felt needed additional work. He ensured we were 100% happy prior to moving on. He was a great communicator, very patient with us, and made us extremely happy that we chose him and Semper Fi. I rarely leave reviews - but would highly recommend him. Final note, our insurance agent recommended him to us and he was as great as advertised.

Josh is absolutely amazing, his service and follow-up is thr best I have ever experienced. The thing that really impressed me was his honesty after inspection, he shared that I didn't need a new roof. There are very few companies with that level of honesty. He has earned a customer for life.

Common Questions about Roofing in Westminster
Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Westminster?
Yes. We pull it and call the inspections in. You don't chase any of it.
What do I need to keep hold of during the job?
The labels off the shingle bundles. Don't let anyone throw the packaging away before the job is signed off, because those labels are what proves which shingle actually went on your house.
How do I check whether a roofing company can work in Westminster?
Ask for the city license rather than a state one. There's no Colorado state roofing license. Ask for a state number and you're asking for something that doesn't exist.
Can a roofer pay my insurance deductible?
No. In Colorado that's against the law. If a company offers to cover it, take that as information about the company.

Have Your Westminster Roof Checked
We'll get on the roof and photograph the edges and the ridge, and check the siding and the gutters while we're there. You'll get the association paperwork question answered at the same visit.
