Roofing Company in Denver, CO
We do roofing and exterior work across Denver, residential and commercial, on the old neighborhoods and the newer edges alike.
Who Comes to Your Denver House

We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance, and about twenty years of hands-on roofing experience goes into our work. Some of our salespeople are fluent in Spanish. Everyone we send out has passed a background check, which matters most on narrow lots with a shared alley. On residential roofing we're GAF Master Elite certified, which is what makes GAF's enhanced warranties, the Golden Pledge among them, available on qualifying roof systems. We're a veteran owned company.
Denver takes hail along with the rest of the metro, most often in late spring and early summer. When a storm caused the damage, we write the estimate in the format the insurance company reads. When the scope comes back short, we argue it. That work stays in house.
What Denver Adds to a Roof Job

What a job involves changes a lot between Denver's oldest blocks and its newest edges. So we walk the whole outside of your house first, and we photograph the roof instead of just telling you about it. Hail hits the gutters, siding, paint and screens on the way past, and they show it before the shingles do.
One thing is worth checking yourself. Is your house a city landmark, or inside one of Denver's historic districts? Then the city looks at the work before it starts, and that adds time to the front of the job. Most straightforward re-roofs get signed off quickly, with no hearing and no fight. The review doesn't stop at the roof:
- A new roof is reviewed.
- New siding is reviewed.
- Replacing your windows is reviewed.
- Painting the outside of the house is not. It's one of the few exterior jobs that goes ahead without sign-off.
Denver publishes which houses and which districts are covered. Look up your own address and you'll know where you stand.
What you end up with is your own roof in photographs, not a description of it. One company looks at the roof, the gutters, the siding and the paint on the same visit. If a storm caused the damage, the estimate goes out in the format your insurance company reads. You get to make the decision knowing which of those you're in.
Everything We Work On in Denver
Residential Roofing
Roof Replacement
Plenty of Denver roofs come off at the end of another cycle rather than after a storm. On an older house, what we find underneath matters as much as what goes back on top. We'd rather talk that through before the job than during it.Learn moreRoof Repair
Denver repair calls cluster around the places water actually gets in. A valley. A joint where the roof meets a wall or a chimney. The low-slope porch section, which is a different roofing system from the rest of the house. Plenty of those are a repair and nothing more.Learn moreRoof Inspection
On an older Denver house you often can't see the roof from anywhere useful, and the porch section is a different system again. We get up there, photograph both, and tell you whether you're looking at a repair, a replacement or a roof with years left in it.Learn moreStorm and Hail Damage
Storms come through Denver most often in late spring and early summer. Hail rarely announces itself on a roof you can only see from the driveway. We document what happened and write the estimate in the format your insurance company reads.Learn moreEmergency Roof Repair
Water coming through a ceiling. A section gone after a wind event. Something through the roof. We get it closed up and dry first, then work out the lasting repair.Learn more
Commercial Roofing
Commercial Roof Replacement
A lot of Denver's commercial blocks are built right out to the sidewalk, so a tear-off has nowhere to land except the street or the alley behind, and that goes into the plan before a start date is promised. On a converted building, test cuts tell us what the old roof has been sitting on all this time.Learn moreCommercial Roof Repair
A lot of these leaks start where the roof runs up against original brick, and sometimes it's the wall drinking water rather than the roofing failing.Learn moreCommercial Roof Maintenance
Spring and fall damage reports, on commercial buildings only. Buy an older building here and you inherit decades of equipment nobody wrote down. Two visits a year build that record, and the spring one goes looking for what a winter of freezing and thawing opened up at the joints.Learn more
Exteriors
Gutter Installation
Denver's older streets pair deep eaves with a heavy tree canopy. A lot of leaf and a lot of water arrive in very few places. We size new gutters and hang them for the roof they're actually under.Learn moreGutter Repair
Hail bends aluminum and wind pulls hangers loose. A gutter that overflows at one corner is usually a slope or fixing problem, not a whole new run.Learn moreSiding
Much of central Denver is brick. Siding work here lands on dormers, gables, additions and the newer edges of the city.Learn moreWindows
Screens, frames and glass take a beating in a hail-prone part of the metro, and window damage is often the first thing anyone notices. We install replacement windows across Denver.Learn moreExterior Painting
Paint takes hail before shingles ever show it, and a pitted wall is a reason to look at the rest of the house. We paint exteriors across Denver.Learn more
Denver in Three Rings
Denver isn't one kind of housing. It runs in rings, and which ring you live in changes which of these jobs you're likely to need first.
The older neighborhoods. Capitol Hill, Curtis Park, Baker, Congress Park, Park Hill, Berkeley, Sloan's Lake and the Highlands. Narrow lots, alleys, brick, and a heavy tree canopy overhead. This is the part of the city where a preservation review is most likely to come into it.
The mid-century middle. Harvey Park, Virginia Village, University Hills and Athmar Park. Bigger lots, lower rooflines, and a landmark question almost never comes up.
The newer edges. Central Park, Lowry, Green Valley Ranch and Gateway. These are built more like the suburbs than like the core, and the work reflects that.
Platt Park, Wash Park, Cheesman Park and Hilltop sit in among those, and so do the northeast neighborhoods out toward the airport side of the city. Colfax cuts straight through all three rings, which is the simplest way to picture how the city is laid out. Same company at every one of those addresses.

What Denver Customers Say
Adam Mayka
Josh with Semper Fi came to look at my roof after the most recent hail storm and couldn’t have been nicer. He was honest, thorough, and explained everything about the inspection process in great detail. His attention to detail and communication made it a very comfortable experience. Albeit we don’t need a new roof, when that time does come I will be using Semper Fi and I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors
Todd Reynolds
Was very responsive. I was able to get what was needed in regards to our roof inspections on three houses quickly. And worked with our insurance agent getting the right information needed for our insurance needs. If you’re looking for someone that knows roofs and you need inspections or confirmations regarding your roof. Highly would recommend recommend this company

We had Semper Fi Restoration Inc. complete the roof on our 10,000 sq. ft. commercial building, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We had the opportunity to meet Joshua Bosley and worked mainly with Leo, our project manager. Leo’s communication throughout the entire project was top-notch. As with any large commercial roofing project, we ran into a few unexpected snags along the way, but the Semper Fi team stepped up and took care of every issue with no questions asked. They stood behind their work, kept us informed, and made sure everything was handled properly. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes responsibility and follows through on what they promise. We are very happy with the finished roof and would definitely recommend Semper Fi Restoration Inc. to anyone looking for a dependable and professional roofing company. Thank you to Joshua, Leo, and the entire Semper Fi team for a job well done!

There are a lot of Roofing Contractors out there so when I was referred Josh and his team by a close friend I knew there must be something different about them. From the first meeting with Josh and Daniel I felt comfortable and at ease. I had a lot of questions and they answered them without hesitation and in extreme detail which I appreciated. They helped me through the entire insurance journey and made sure I was covered before any work was done which helped lift that burden off my shoulders. Also, you will not find a Owner as diligent as Josh when it comes to QA/QC of the work done by his crews making sure the roof/gutters you get are up to HIS standards. I appreciate Josh and Daniel for getting the work done and definitely exceeded all my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but their work deserves some praise, I will definitely be referring them anytime I hear anyone I know is even thinking of getting or needing a new roof.

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for Josh and his team at Semper Fi Restoration. Josh came out the same day we called to provide an estimate and inspect our roof, and a member of his team completed the repairs first thing the very next morning. We truly appreciated the quick turnaround, excellent customer service, and quality workmanship in repairing the damage to our roof. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I highly recommend Semper Fi Restoration to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive roofing company!

When my insurance refused to pay for my hail damaged roof, Semper Fi worked with my insurance to successfully get them to pay. They helped me with the entire process and communicated well. They were always available if I had questions. Their crew did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company.

I had a fantastic experience with Leo at Semper Fi Restoration Inc. He recently completed some roof repairs for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Leo was professional, honest, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained everything thoroughly, showed up on time, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The quality of the repairs was excellent, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about doing the job right. It’s hard to find contractors you can truly trust, but Leo absolutely earned my confidence. I highly recommend Leo and Semper Fi Restoration Inc. to anyone needing roofing work or repairs. Outstanding service from start to finish!

Josh Bosley and Semper Fi Restoration recently completed hail damage work on our residence. Josh handled EVERYTHING with our insurance company. The work was completed on time, as promised. Clean-up was great. Josh came back and guaranteed we were happy with everything - including fixing two small areas that we felt needed additional work. He ensured we were 100% happy prior to moving on. He was a great communicator, very patient with us, and made us extremely happy that we chose him and Semper Fi. I rarely leave reviews - but would highly recommend him. Final note, our insurance agent recommended him to us and he was as great as advertised.

Josh is absolutely amazing, his service and follow-up is thr best I have ever experienced. The thing that really impressed me was his honesty after inspection, he shared that I didn't need a new roof. There are very few companies with that level of honesty. He has earned a customer for life.

Leo Jett was fabulous! He walked me through every step of the process and made this a great experience. His customer service was more than I could have hoped for. After spending 25 years in the HOA business, Semper Fi would be a contractor I would recommend to anyone needing a new roof.

Common Questions about Roofing in Denver
Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Denver?
Yes. We pull it and call the inspections in. You don't chase any of it.
Do I need landmark approval to replace my roof in Denver?
Only if the house is a Denver landmark or sits inside a historic district. Then the city looks at the work before it starts, which adds time at the front of the job. Most straightforward re-roofs are signed off quickly, and handling that step is our job.
How do I check whether a roofing company is licensed in Denver?
In Denver, "are you licensed" isn't a yes or no question. The city licenses roofing work in pieces, so ask which piece:
- Shingle roofing, flat and membrane roofing, metal roofing and green roofs are all separate here. Holding one doesn't mean holding the others.
- Ask separately about siding and gutters. Those sit under a different one again.
Colorado issues nothing at state level, so a company waving a state number is waving something that doesn't exist. Ask us for the Denver one and you'll get a straight answer.
Do you do commercial roofing in Denver?
Yes, and it's different work from a house. Flat and membrane commercial roofs are their own system, and on Denver's older blocks the tear-off has nowhere to go but the street or the alley, which changes the plan before it changes the price.
Can a roofer pay my insurance deductible?
No. In Colorado that's against the law. If someone offers to cover it, that tells you plenty about how they operate.
