When Denver Hail Falls

What size hail damages a roof in Denver?
Smaller than people expect. It depends as much on the wind behind the stone, and the age of the shingle, as on the stone. An old roof gives up to hail that a newer one shrugs off.
Should I file a claim at all?
Not always. If the damage is small and the work costs less than your deductible, a claim buys you nothing. We'll tell you which side of that line you're on before you pick up the phone to your insurer.
