Emergency Roof Repair in Brighton, CO
Getting a Brighton roof closed up after wind, hail or something coming through it, then sorting out the permanent repair. Why so many of these calls arrive weeks after the windy night. How a cover gets fixed down so it stays on.
Calling Outside Normal Hours

Call, and call even if it's outside normal hours. We take the call. A genuine emergency gets a real response. The first thing we do is work out with you how serious this actually is.
Some of these need us out that night. Plenty of them are safer left until there's daylight to work in. Saying so is part of the job, not a way of putting you off.
Looking at it and pricing it are free, whatever the answer turns out to be. Semper Fi Roofing is licensed and insured. Everyone we send into your home has had a background check. We're GAF Master Elite certified. That's what allows GAF's enhanced warranties, the Golden Pledge among them, on qualifying roof systems.
The first visit has one job, and that's to stop more water getting in. Working out what caused it comes second, once the roof is dry enough to read properly.
Winter Leaks on a Brighton Roof

Plenty of Brighton's winter emergency calls have no storm behind them that week. The roof got opened up on a windy night in December. Nothing leaked at the time. The first proper melt in February finds the hole.
The classic ice dam usually isn't the answer here. What's up there instead is wind damage sitting quietly, waiting for water.
That changes how the calendar works on these calls:
- The windy night and the wet ceiling are often weeks apart. That's why the storm you remember doesn't seem to line up with anything.
- Snow sits on a roof until it moves all at once, then it goes wherever the roof is already open.
- By the time a stain shows on a ceiling, water has usually been getting into the structure for a while.
So a stain that turns up on a clear cold day is worth a call. It normally means something has been open up there for longer than you'd like.
Nearby Service Areas
From the Cover to the Repair
- Covering an opened section, so the weather stops making it worse.
- Sealing a puncture, from a branch, a piece of somebody else's roof, or hail through a vent.
- Holding down wind damage, meaning a lifted or missing section fixed and sealed.
- Tracing water inside, to find where it's actually getting in rather than where it's landing.
Brighton's newer filings run long straight roof lines with very few corners in them. That's a lot of open plane and not many edges to work off. On the east side there's nothing standing between a roof and the weather either. A cover that's only weighted down will move on the first gusty night.
That's why we fix a cover to sound roof either side of the damage, rather than laying it over the top and hoping. Every fixing that goes in is a hole. Dealing with those holes is part of the permanent repair, not something quietly left behind.
A cover is a lid, not a roof. It buys days rather than a season. We describe it and price it as its own piece of work, separate from the repair. Nothing lands as a surprise later on.
The permanent repair is a second visit, in daylight, with the roof dry. We pull the permit for that work and call the inspections, so that part isn't yours to work out.
If what the roof actually needs turns out to be a whole new one, the old roof always comes off. A tear-off is the only route here, so there's no cheaper option anybody is holding back from you.
Where there's a storm behind it, we send the estimate to your insurer in the format they read. We handle the estimating and the supplementing in house, rather than sending them out. Where there's no claim behind it, financing is available through Hearth.
What Brighton Customers Say

Josh with Semper Fi came to look at my roof after the most recent hail storm and couldn’t have been nicer. He was honest, thorough, and explained everything about the inspection process in great detail. His attention to detail and communication made it a very comfortable experience. Albeit we don’t need a new roof, when that time does come I will be using Semper Fi and I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors

Was very responsive. I was able to get what was needed in regards to our roof inspections on three houses quickly. And worked with our insurance agent getting the right information needed for our insurance needs. If you’re looking for someone that knows roofs and you need inspections or confirmations regarding your roof. Highly would recommend recommend this company

We had Semper Fi Restoration Inc. complete the roof on our 10,000 sq. ft. commercial building, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We had the opportunity to meet Joshua Bosley and worked mainly with Leo, our project manager. Leo’s communication throughout the entire project was top-notch. As with any large commercial roofing project, we ran into a few unexpected snags along the way, but the Semper Fi team stepped up and took care of every issue with no questions asked. They stood behind their work, kept us informed, and made sure everything was handled properly. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes responsibility and follows through on what they promise. We are very happy with the finished roof and would definitely recommend Semper Fi Restoration Inc. to anyone looking for a dependable and professional roofing company. Thank you to Joshua, Leo, and the entire Semper Fi team for a job well done!

There are a lot of Roofing Contractors out there so when I was referred Josh and his team by a close friend I knew there must be something different about them. From the first meeting with Josh and Daniel I felt comfortable and at ease. I had a lot of questions and they answered them without hesitation and in extreme detail which I appreciated. They helped me through the entire insurance journey and made sure I was covered before any work was done which helped lift that burden off my shoulders. Also, you will not find a Owner as diligent as Josh when it comes to QA/QC of the work done by his crews making sure the roof/gutters you get are up to HIS standards. I appreciate Josh and Daniel for getting the work done and definitely exceeded all my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but their work deserves some praise, I will definitely be referring them anytime I hear anyone I know is even thinking of getting or needing a new roof.

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for Josh and his team at Semper Fi Restoration. Josh came out the same day we called to provide an estimate and inspect our roof, and a member of his team completed the repairs first thing the very next morning. We truly appreciated the quick turnaround, excellent customer service, and quality workmanship in repairing the damage to our roof. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I highly recommend Semper Fi Restoration to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive roofing company!

When my insurance refused to pay for my hail damaged roof, Semper Fi worked with my insurance to successfully get them to pay. They helped me with the entire process and communicated well. They were always available if I had questions. Their crew did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company.

Leo was professional, honest, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained everything thoroughly, showed up on time, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The quality of the repairs was excellent, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about doing the job right. It’s hard to find contractors you can truly trust, but Leo absolutely earned my confidence. Josh Bosley and Semper Fi Restoration recently completed hail damage work on our residence. Josh handled EVERYTHING with our insurance company. The work was completed on time, as promised. Clean-up was great. Josh came back and guaranteed we were happy with everything - including fixing two small areas that we felt needed additional work. He ensured we were 100% happy prior to moving on. He was a great communicator, very patient with us, and made us extremely happy that we chose him and Semper Fi. I rarely leave reviews - but would highly recommend him. Final note, our insurance agent recommended him to us and he was as great as advertised.

Josh is absolutely amazing, his service and follow-up is thr best I have ever experienced. The thing that really impressed me was his honesty after inspection, he shared that I didn't need a new roof. There are very few companies with that level of honesty. He has earned a customer for life.

Emergency Roof Repair in Brighton FAQs
Water is coming through my ceiling. Is that an emergency?
If it's coming in now, yes. Get a bucket under it and move what's underneath, starting with anything electrical. If water is anywhere near a light fitting or an outlet, switch that circuit off at the panel first. An old dry stain that hasn't changed in months is a different thing. It can wait for a proper look in daylight.
The wind took shingles off but nothing is leaking. Does that wait?
It's worth a look sooner rather than later. What matters is whether the layer underneath is still doing its job. If it isn't, there's a route in already and the next melt or the next rain will find it. That's the situation that turns into a February phone call.
Should I get up there and cover it myself?
We'd rather you didn't. A roof in the wind is not a place to be learning. Most of the damage worth covering sits high on the roof, not low. If there's something you can reach safely from the ground, move it out of the way and leave the rest.
Will my insurance pay for the temporary work?
Usually the emergency work and the permanent repair sit as two separate lines on a claim. Insurers generally expect you to stop the damage getting worse rather than watch it spread. Photograph what you can safely photograph from the ground while you wait, because that record is worth having later.
Why is my ceiling wet when the last storm was ages ago?
Because on a lot of these roofs the damage and the leak happen at different times of year. Wind opens the roof in the cold months without any rain falling that night. The water arrives with the first real thaw. It's one of the more common things we get called about and it catches almost everybody out.
Will you come out if it turns out to be nothing?
Yes, and we'd much rather that than the other way round. Having it looked at and priced costs you nothing, so finding out is free. Nobody gets a lecture for calling about a stain that turned out to be years old.
Can the repair be financed?
Yes, there's financing through Hearth. It comes up most on the permanent repair rather than on the night work. An emergency rarely turns up at a convenient point in the year.
